About Shepherd's Fold Child Care Center
Shepherd’s Fold began in October 1989 as a ministry of Sierra Evangelical Lutheran Church to provide quality, affordable childcare in a safe, nurturing Christian environment for parents who work outside the home or go to school. We accept ages from infant to 5 years old. Unlike the public school system, there are no restrictions on prayer, Bible stories, and sharing the Gospel message. Shepherd’s Fold currently uses a variety of age-appropriate learning activities. The lesson plans are structured around faith-based, learning through play.
